An Exclusive Interview With Kylie Scott:

~ with Jillian Stein of Read Love Blog

Oh how I just loved Ziggy and Mae! How did you choose them for this story?

I adore plus size models like Ashley Graham, Paloma Elesser, and Tess Holliday. I think they’re beautiful boss babes. So giving my own plus size model a happy ever after with a hot bodyguard just had to be done.

Speaking of Ziggy, his name is just the best! How did you come up with it?

That’s just me being a David Bowie fan. Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is a favorite album of mine. Bowie was an amazing songwriter and performer.

If you could spend the day shopping with Mae, where would you ladies go and what would you want to buy?

Saks on Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Balenciaga…where wouldn’t we go!

If you could dream cast Ziggy and Mae, who would you choose?

Probably Georgia Pratt or Barbie Ferriera for Mae. They’re beautiful statuesque brunettes. And maybe Sebastian Stan for Ziggy. He does serious and dangerous so well. I’m a big Winter Soldier fan.

Can you give us a hint as to what you’re working on now?

I’m working on my next book which is about a complicated rich family and the normal girl who stumbles into their world of crazy. I wanted to try writing a bit more of a cinnamon roll of a hero, but he’ll inevitably have a bit of an edge because it’s me. That just seems to be how my heroes roll.
