I loved loved loved Alexandra and Dorian! How did you choose the for this novella?

That always makes me so happy to hear. J Dorian had been sitting in my head for awhile waiting to make an appearance. I knew it had to be a pretty big one, which is why I was saving him for Dragon Night. Because Dorian is a bit different, I needed to have a heroine that could not only match him, but push him as well as ignite his protective instincts. Alexandra did all of those things and so much more. I loved writing these two characters!

Who would you choose to play them in a Dragon Night movie?

This is always such a difficult question for me to answer. I could so see Natalie Dormer playing Alexandra. As for Dorian, perhaps Sam Claflin.

I enjoy all the genres you write in. Is there any genre you haven’t written in that you would like to at some point?

I love to push myself as a writer, and trying new things is part of that. One day I’d love to write a thriller.

Do you have any writing rituals; like a certain snack you have to have or a soundtrack you listen to?

Lol. Well, I began writing with an infant, so I can write anywhere pretty much anytime – doctors offices, around screaming kids, or in complete silence. But I prefer to be in my office on my couch with my noise-cancelling headphones deep into my movie soundtracks so I can immerse myself in the book.

Can you give us a hint as to what you’re working on next?

More Dragon Kings and Reapers! J Just finished another DK story and I’m working on a Reaper right now. I’m loving the stories, so I can’t wait for them to get out to readers!
