Brodie

(An Until Her Novella)

by Aurora Rose Reynolds

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds returns with a new story in her Until Her series…

More book worm than Barbie, Reese Shepard is completely caught off guard when the most beautiful man she has ever seen in her life steps in and pretends to be her boyfriend when some creep won’t leave her alone.

She assumes that it’s the last time that she’ll see the chivalrous stranger, but soon he is everywhere she is. And before she knows what’s happening, the two of them are spending all their free time together bonding over their love of the ocean, scary movies, and homemade cookies.

Reese knows that a guy like Brodie Larsen could have any woman he wants and that becomes even more apparent when she finds out that he’s a pro hockey player that’s worth millions of dollars. So to save herself the potential heartbreak she places him firmly in the friend zone.

If only he’d stay there.

The infuriating man starts pushing for more, lots more, and the worst part is she wants to give it all to him including her heart.

An Exclusive Interview with Aurora Rose Reynolds

Can you tell us why or how you chose to write about this couple for your novella?

In my previous novel Until Willow Brodie lost the woman he loved because he didn’t take her feelings serious and lost her. I wanted to give him a chance to fall in love and redeem himself.

Do you do anything to treat yourself when you finish writing a book?

I like to take a day or two and just spend it with my boys doing things as a family.

If someone were to narrate your life, who would you want the narrator to be and why?

Previously I said Morgan Freeman and I love him but think right now I would choose Will Ferrell just for the comedic aspect.

What one piece of advice would you give an aspiring writer?

Keep writing, no matter what just keep putting those words on paper.

If you could dream cast (actors, models, singers… anyone really!) the hero and heroine, who would you choose?

Tom holland and Zendaya Coleman

What’s your cure for hiccups?

A bent straw

What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

Unicorns and dragons, can you imagine seeing either of those in this life.

What scene in this book was the toughest to write and why?

Reese seeing her ex that cheated on her.

If you could watch one scene from this book be played out like a movie, which one would it be and why?

Reese and Brodie at the Gala in New York, when they are slow dancing and laughing.

What’s the worst thing you’ve eaten out of politeness?

Hicken foot soup YIKES

What’s the most awkward thing that happens to you on a regular basis?

I can’t think of a single thing that is awkward that happens to me or maybe I just block it out each time. LOL

How did you come up with the title for this book?

Brodie is the name of the hero.
